Yulia Raskina
Psychodynamic Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Helping you find your own way from overwhelm to clarity
Psychodynamic psychotherapy to work through anxiety, shift repeating patterns and begin to live more freely and fully.
Welcome, I am Yulia, a registered psychodynamic psychotherapist holding an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, which is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I support young adults and adults through complex emotional and relational challenges, as well as periods of change and transition.
My work is grounded in a depth-based approach, looking not only at what is happening now, but at how past experiences and relationships continue to shape the present. Many of the ways we cope with emotional difficulty, such as withdrawing, overthinking, or trying to stay in control, once helped us survive experiences that felt too much to manage alone.
Rather than focusing only on reducing symptoms, we will take time to understand what is beneath them, how your relationships and inner world have shaped the way you feel, behave, and relate to others today.
I offer a warm and inclusive space where you can slow down, reflect and speak openly about your thoughts and feelings, reconnect with yourself and move from overthinking and fear towards living more fully. Our work can help you develop greater self-awareness, improve your relationships, and find more authentic ways of living, while feeling more able to navigate difficult emotions.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. We can start with a conversation and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
I am here to support you.

Starting Therapy With Me
-
We can begin with a free 25-minute introductory call, offering a space to talk about what brings you to therapy.
During this conversation, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of how I work, and whether this feels like the right space for you.
-
You’re welcome to book a 60-minute initial consultation, offering a space for us to explore what working together might look like.
There is no expectation to commit to further sessions. Finding the right help can feel confusing, especially if you’re not yet sure what you need. A one-off assessment session can offer space to reflect and consider what kind of support might feel right for you.
-
If we choose to work together, we’ll meet for regular 50-minute sessions, in person or online.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy. Short-term work can support you through a specific difficulty, while longer-term psychotherapy allows space to explore deeper patterns and questions over time.

I offer online psychotherapy, working with people across different countries and cultures.
